The document tally’s up the value of goods and services provided to create a summation. Invoices also factor in GST and PST as well as any other deposits as required by the government.

The Invoice is created after the customer has observed the Invitation to Treat. The Invoice tells the client the following details about a transaction: The date and time of the creation of the document and the address and phone number of the business, the amount of consideration requested in exchange for the goods and services to be provided. The Invoice tally’s up amounts for every goods and services that are being purchased. The summation is the purchase amount (Grand Total) where the vendor requests a funds transfer.
