The Petition is used to help change a decision that has been rendered through democratic processes.
Products aesthetic characteristics
The document is started by inserting a Referent on the Header of the document in capitalizations.
On the next line, a paragraph persists to introduce the following information: who, what, why, when, how and why the Petition pertains to. Information is always cited via in paragraph citations. For example:
In 2021, The NDP government made changes to the Insurance Vehicle Act of British Columbia. These changes are known as “No Fault Insurance” for auto accidents. The changes to the legislation removed the right of an individual to “sue for personal injuries and vehicle damage caused by a motor vehicle accident in British Columbia on or after May 01, 2021” (Gowling WLG 2024).
In the next paragraph explain the political and legal recourse that the Petition requests. Further, detail the values by which the phenomena serves to affect:
As a result, I/ we request a judicial review of the Act in question along with the changes made by the NDP government. We request this on the basis of the following values: equality, equity, justice, and fairness. Further to this, we have collected signatures from drivers in the community with regards to the subject matter all supporting the judicial review of the changes made by the NDP government in 2021 on the Insurance Vehicle Act. The aforesaid signatures are attached as Annex “A.”
The next paragraph is a signature line of the person creating the Petition, observe below:
Signed at [INSERT ADDRESS] on __ day ___, ____ (day, month and year).
If the document is bundled with other documents, the signature line can be placed on other documents. ALL DOCUMENT BUNDLES MUST HAVE A SIGNITURE AND DATE.
Lastly, for any supporting documentation insert them as attachments by taking a sharp permanent pen and labelling the documents alphabetically as “Annex” documents, in this case "ANNEX A" is visible on its right margin within the document (for preceding documents label them as ANNEX B, ANNEX C etc.) With that said, the signatures are attached as annexed documents as it is a new page, its description is below:

In the next line, there is a statement by the author of the Petition stating the following:
I/ we, in support of the Petition [INSERT PETITION REFERENT], affix our signatures herein in support of the mentioned Petition initiated by John Doe regarding the No Fault Insurance the Insurance Vehicle Act for Judicial Review – Repeal
With that, the last item on this document is a table with the following sections: Last Name, First Name, Signature, Date, and Phone Number. Some documents may even have an ID section. An example of the table is below:

Every Petition has a hyperlink to change.org, it is inserted near the footer of the document, example below:

Petitions are correspondence and there is a duty to take accountable and responsible ownership of the document. The document is created in office by a worker and then it is administered to the client.

The Petition is presented on plain paper with legal formatting.
Applicable standards
The Petition can be administered by an individual that has a certification in law or legal administrative studies. It can also be administered by civilians practicing civil- legal advocacy/ although it is not advised and it is a last resort.
Applicable statutes or legislations
Petitions are administered per the Constitution Act – Supreme Court but are also administered by the province by virtue of the Provincial Court Act. It varies on the matter to be resolved- refer to S92 and S91 for jurisdiction provisions.
